COVID-19 Information for Patients

Dr. Brown, along with Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, is actively following CDC recommendations to help prevent exposure and spread of COVID-19. We remain open and are taking the recommended precautions for in-person appointments and we are also offering telemedicine as an additional option. Masks and Facial Coverings

For your protection and ours, we are requiring our staff members to wear masks or facial coverings. Patients are also required to wear masks when coming in for an appointment. If you do not have a mask with you, our office will provide one. We kindly ask that you keep your mask completely covering your nose and mouth for the entire duration of the time you are in the clinic, including when you are by yourself in the exam room.

Checking In For Your Appointment

Upon entering any TOA facility, you will be asked a series of questions and your temperature will be taken. If you are exhibiting symptoms or have been exposed to a COVID-19 positive person, you will be asked to delay your visit two weeks or until you test negative for COVID-19. Please utilize our telemedicine services when applicable.

Visitors

Some TOA facilities are limiting visitors that accompany patients inside the building. We are permitting one visitor per patient in our office. Non-essential visitors may be asked to wait in the car.

Social Distancing & Sanitation

We have marked the seating areas in our waiting rooms, as well as the floors when applicable, to encourage appropriate social distancing and six foot spacing.

Our staff is working diligently to keep our offices clean and disinfected. You will note sanitation stations and kiosks throughout our clinics, and we encourage you to utilize them.
